Anyone wanting to live next door to the future home of the Atlanta Braves will soon have the opportunity.
According to the AJC, Atlanta-based real estate group Pollack Shores announced Wednesday it would begin pre-leasing units at three apartment complexes next to SunTrust Park in December. Those complexes, The Residencies, The Flats, and Parkside, will all be located in The Battery Atlanta, the new stadium’s commercial district in Cobb County.
The residencies vary in size, with the largest being The Flats, consisting of 289-units. The smallest is the 81-unit Residencies complex. The complexes offer one and two-bedroom units and will be pet-friendly.
A variety of amenities will be included in the apartment buildings, including rooftop decks and swimming pools with courtyards, Smyrna Patch reports.
Surrounding the apartments will be a variety of shopping and dining options, such as Georgia’s first ever Wahlburgers restaurant location and Mountain High Outfitters.
In a press release, Pollack Shores president and co-founder Steven Shores expressed excitement over the location and atmosphere the upcoming residencies would provide.
“We’ve created this unique opportunity to not only tailgate from your patio, but also enjoy other qualities residents look for like walking and biking trails and easy access to major highways,” he said. “It’s a truly unique residential mix with something for everyone.”
The apartments will be ready for move-in beginning March of 2017, just in time for the Braves’ debut season in SunTrust Park. So far, no announcements have been made regarding potential rent costs for the units.
The press release also details a planned pedestrian bridge that will connect The Battery Atlanta to Cobb Galleria, allowing for greater access to the surrounding area for residents.
